John Kitzhaber served notice last week that he’s back in the health care game.
The former governor, who resigned amid an influence-peddling scandal last year, famously secured $1.9 billion from the federal government in 2011 to transform Oregon’s Medicaid system and create the Coordinated Care Organizations. He also secured a federal waiver, which gave the state more flexibility to enact Kitzhaber’s transformation initiative.
