Birmingham Uber users on Tuesday will be able to order a flu vaccine through their smartphone, part of an Uber for Health day initiative in 13 U.S. cities.
Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., Uber will deliver Fluzone vaccines to residents using the Uber app in conjunction with Passport Health, a travel health clinic located on Cahaba Heights Road. The vaccines (for ages 4 and up) will be administered by a Passport Health registered nurse. There also is no charge for the Uber driver to the location.
