Mary Durham is retiring from the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research in Portland after more than two decades at the helm.
Durham took over as director of the center in 1995 from Rep. Mitch Greenlick, who was the founding director, starting when the center got going in a small basement office in a Kaiser Permanente hospital.
Durham’s last day is Nov. 30. At that point, she plans to live with her husband at their home two hours east of Seattle. They will also spend three months a year…
