Nurses at Des Peres Hospital have voted to end their relationship with the National Nurses United union.
The registered nurses voted 67-52 Thursday to remove the union as their collective bargaining agent. NNU has represented nurses at Des Peres since 2012.
Amy Paul, one of the nurses who led the effort to decertify the union, said the relationship between the hospital’s RNs and the California-based union was never strong.
