But that’s what happened in October when Candace Johnson shared the news that Roswell Park Cancer Institute received key federal approval to pursue clinical trials for a lung cancer vaccine in partnership with a Cuban research institute.
Roswell Park has had a good year, indeed.
In May, the hospital opened the 11-story, $50 million Bieler Clinical Sciences Center, its first clinical expansion since 1998.
