A machine that’s able to detect breast cancer more effectively than traditional technology is now being used at Sutter North Medical Foundation in Yuba City.
The General Electric SenoClaire 3D Breast Tomosynthesis machine is able to produce three-dimensional mammography screenings for patients, improving the ability of doctors to detect the size, shape and location of cancerous tumors within the breast, according to imaging manager Michael Stemen.
