More than 100,000 people in the Triangle area have signed up for coverage through Healthcare.gov, according to The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
From the start of open enrollment, Nov. 1, through the extended deadline of Dec. 19 for Jan. 1 coverage, 103,707 people in the Triangle and Fayetteville selected plans.
The Triangle had the second highest number of North Carolina markets included in CMS’ local snapshot.
