Raleigh fitness entrepreneur John Kane is expanding from running events to full-on conventions. His half-marathon startup, Race 13.1, which has produced races in 10 states, is bringing a health and fitness expo to Raleigh in November, one executed to bring in speakers and free fitness classes.
