Georgia lawmakers reworking hospital tax credit

A new state income tax credit to support Georgia’s financially ailing rural hospitals has been in effect only since New Year’s Day. But supporters in the General Assembly already have concluded the incentive it’s offering is not enough to attract significant individual and corporate donations.
