MolecularMD, a Portland-based diagnostics company, has raised $2 million, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company works with academic research centers such as Oregon Health & Science University to license new cancer biomarkers. It also has contracts with all the major global pharmaceutical companies to help bring new drugs through clinical trials and to market.
MolecularMD completed two other raises in 2008 and 2012 for $13 million altogether.
