Wisconsin is insulated from the prediction that House Republicans’ American Health Care Act would cause 14 million people to lose their health insurance, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says.
That’s because Walker rejected Medicaid expansion under Obamacare, Walker said. The bulk of the predicted lost coverage is for low-income residents of states that accepted the federal Medicaid funds which would end in 2020, he said Tuesday in Milwaukee.
