Baptist Healthcare System Inc. announced Wednesday it is laying of nearly 170 workers in the Louisville area.
A news release said that 288 people would lose their jobs throughout the entirety of the organization, which includes hospitals, specialist groups and physician groups. That includes 149 position, mostly administrative support positions in the company's corporate headquarters located at 2701 Eastpoint Parkway.
