Elaine McIntosh is reaching the end of an era.
The Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care CEO announced Thursday that she will retire after 24 years of leading the nonprofit. She will remain CEO until a successor is named, expected at the end of the year. The executive committee of the KC Hospice board has formed a search committee to begin the process.
