Edward Abraham, the dean of the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem since 2011, is leaving the school to join the University of Miami.
Abraham will become to new dean of the university’s Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine on July 1. He replaces Laurence B. Gardner, who has served as interim dean, said the University of Miami on Wednesday.
A replacement for Abraham at Wake Forest School of Medicine has not yet been named.
