A year after receiving their licenses, medical marijuana dispensaries in Hawaii have yet to generate any revenue, but it’s already time for them to renew their licenses.
The Hawaii State Department of Health issued licenses to eight medical marijuana dispensaries last April at a cost of $75,000 each. It will cost an additional $50,000 for each dispensary to renew.
By law, dispensaries could have begun selling products by July 1, but delays in the state’s implementation of the seed-to-sale tracking…
