The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals handed the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency at least a partial win in a case involving Oregon’s prescription drug database, the Associated Press reported.
The justices ruled that the DEA doesn’t need to obtain a court order to subpoena the database, but they didn’t specify whether any subpoenas would violate constitutional protection.
The Monday ruling reversed a 2014 judge’s ruling that held that the agency must obtain warrants to access the database.…
