Novant Health has named Michael Arno as interim president of Thomasville Medical Center, filling the role held for the past seven years by Kathie Johnson.
Arno most recently served as CEO of Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital in the United Arab Emirates and previously served as interim CEO of Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin.
He has also held leadership roles with Presence Health System in Kankakee, Ill., and with Hospital Corp. of America.
