With next week’s Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro quickly approaching, San Francisco-based digital health startup Kinsa is offering its smartphone connected thermometer for free to Olympians in order to track the spread Zika Virus and guard athletes and members of their entourage from infection.
Backed by Silicon Valley VC firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Kinsa Health was founded in 2012, with the mission of using technology to help track and stop the spread of illness.
