Pewaukee-based ProHealth Care, which owns Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, reported a 19 percent decline in operating income for its fiscal year ended Sept. 30.
Total revenue increased about 2 percent due in part to a 4 percent price increase, ProHealth said in a report to bondholders.
Expenses increased by 3.1 percent as a result of pay increases for employees and new costs from launching the UW Cancer Center at ProHealth Care and an emergency department in Mukwonago.
