Cardinal Health Inc. CEO George Barrett has been elected chairman of the Healthcare Leadership Council, a policy advocacy group with members from large hospital systems and health-care corporations including distributors and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Barrett was elected by fellow members to a two-year term succeeding Premier Inc. CEO Susan DeVore, according to a press release.
