Republicans on the Colorado Senate Finance Committee took the first step Tuesday toward unraveling Connect for Health Colorado, the state’s health-insurance exchange for individual and small-group policies.
GOP state lawmakers said they want to give Coloradans more insurance choices and come up with a more Colorado-focused plan.
Senate Bill 3, sponsored by state Sen. Jim Smallwood, R-Parker, was approved on a 3-2 party-line vote.
