A proposal by Denver City Councilwoman Robin Kniech laying out new regulations for marijuana sales in Denver advanced from a council committee Monday to a first reading in the council's regular meeting on April 11.
The proposal moved ahead after a council member unsuccessfully tried to add several provisions to it.
Councilwoman Debbie Ortega suggested nine amendments to the proposal Monday. Her proposals included:
