Kindred Healthcare Inc. has sold a dozen hospitals in six states for $27.5 million.
The Louisville-based health care company plans to sell the hospitals to Curahealth LLC, according to an 8-K form filed by Kindred Monday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. That deal is expected to close in third-quarter 2016.
