Nurses at five Twin Cities hospitals have authorized a second strike against Allina Health, and this one has the potential to be much longer than a weeklong walkout in June.
The Star Tribune reports on the new vote following another breakdown in talks between Allina and the Minnesota Nurses Association, which represents 4,800 nurses at Abbott Northwestern, Mercy, United, and Unity hospitals, as well as the Phillips Eye Institute.
