Another former Philadelphia ambulance company owner was sentenced to prison for his involvement in perpetrating a Medicare fraud scheme.
Bassem Kuran, 23, of Philadelphia was sentenced today to 10 months in prison for making false statements to Medicare through VIP Ambulance Inc., an ambulance company that Kuran owned and for which he served as president.
